Chris Watts (Treasurer)
I am a retired Chartered Accountant. Having qualified and worked for some years with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) I then had a spell in the head office of an international precision engineering group. I then moved back into professional accounting to a smaller practice (up to retirement) where the accent was on personal service. Much of my time was spent on charity clients and I still carry out some financial consultancy for a fairly substantial charity.
My interest in the arts is mainly as a consumer and I attend concerts, theatre productions and art exhibitions on a very regular basis.
My main participation is in singing and I have been a second bass with Goldsmith’s Choral Union for over forty years and I am also now in a chamber choir. I play the piano for personal enjoyment and deputise for the organist at my church when he is away.
I am pleased to have an opportunity to help artists (with a Christian motivation) to achieve their potential by easing the financial burden.
